Kala Art Institute is proud to present Rounding the Corner, a new installation work by Mari Andrews at Milvia/ Addison Window located at 2100 Milvia Street, Berkeley.

Working with found natural and man-made materials I construct sculptural “drawings”. These objects are fairly minimal and hang on the wall, often coming together to make larger installations. The found materials carry the memory of the urban walk, or the desert, forest or beach hike. I hope to reveal beauty in the mundane, and encourage more curiosity and engagement with things natural, in the hopes of promoting care and stewardship of our wild and natural world.
