ABOUT OUR COLLECTION

Kala is dedicated to promoting the work of the exceptional artists who have participated in its residency programs through its Art Sales and Consulting Program. All purchases directly support the artists in their professional activities and provide a means for them to give back to Kala by helping fund our programs and operating costs.

With over 100 gifted artists represented, our collection includes prints, drawings, paintings, photographs and small sculptures. Stylistically, the works are extremely varied, offering a full range from realism to abstraction. We are very proud of the works on hand and grateful to the artists who are participating in this program.

Artworks can be viewed in the new Mercy and Roger Smullen Print & Media Study Center adjacent to the Gallery at 2990 San Pablo Avenue near Ashby Avenue. To schedule a viewing of works available for sale, please contact Andrea Voinot for an appointment.
