SEIKO TACHIBANA completed her Masters of Art Education at Kobe University,
Japan.
In 1995 she received an MFA from San Francisco Art Institute
and has since received many awards and a long list of solo and
group exhibitions. Her distinctive work balances Asian tradition
with minimalist modernity. Tachibana’s prints can be found in the
Los Angeles County Museum, San Francisco Fine Art Museums, as well as a
number of other museum and individual collections in California, Oregon,
Hawaii, Louisiana, Arizona, New York and throughout Japan.
