Barbara Robertson

The mixed media prints of BARBARA ROBERTSON explore the imagery of time, space and motion associated with physics and astronomy. She is known as a lecturer and teacher as well as the Founder and President of Seattle Print Arts. Barbara is held in high regard for her commitment to the development of technically innovative print processes, incorporating traditional print techniques with digital media. The new Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle will name its Print Center after Robertson. Her work was recently seen in New York as an interactive backdrop for a performance by the Merce Cunningham Dance Company. Robertson’s prints were presented in a solo show at the Davidson Gallery in Seattle in 2004, and her work is exhibited internationally, as well as held in a number of private and public collections. Robertson lives and works in Seattle, Washington.
