Barbara Foster

BARBARA FOSTER is a well known lecturer, historian and director of several fine arts projects in addition to her work in fine art prints. She recently collaborated with Trillium Press on groundbreaking body of work that combines large format digital prints with an overlay of finely detailed woodcut prints. Her darkly mysterious hybrid works utilize photographic images of test sites in the desert and underwater locations. Foster has exhibited her prints and book projects throughout the United States, Europe and Australia. She teaches printmaking at San Francisco State University and lives in the Bay Area.
