Barbara Foster explores the dark side of the human spirit, combining Western landscape photographs taken from Air Force test site locations with images of missiles and high-tech weaponry. These dramatic works combine digital photographic prints and traditional hand-carved woodcuts with images of historical and contemporary landscapes.
