Fresh & Local! Kala’s 2015 Spring Gala and Auction
Kala Art Institute invites you to join us for Fresh & Local!, an exhibition, auction and gala benefit to support Kala’s artistic, cultural, and educational programs.
Fresh & Local! Kala's 2015 Spring Gala and Auction opens with a two-week exhibition featuring a ripe assortment of inventive, captivating art made here and now in the Bay Area. It culminates the night of Saturday, April 25 with a lively Gala Auction of all the work on view. Hosted by our Honorary Chair, community visionary and founder of Heyday Books, Malcolm Margolin, Fresh & Local! features artworks by over 100 talented artists, and unique art-related items, local treasures, and experiences offered through both live and silent auctions. Celebrity chef Narsai David will return as Master of Ceremonies and Wes Sparling of Bonham's as our auctioneer. We are thrilled this year to honor artists Kim Anno and Don & Era Farnsworth as the 2015 recipients of the Kala Master Artist Award.
