Make the most of your camera! The modern Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera is a powerful creative tool. This three-day workshop offers an in-depth study of all of the tools your camera provides for taking exceptional photographs. Time in class will be devoted to technical instruction as well as tips for shooting great pictures.

Born in Springfield, Missouri, Josh Smith relocated to the bay area in 2004 to attend the San Francisco Art Institute. Currently living in Pacifica, Ca., and teaching High School photography at Eastside College Prep in East Palo Alto, Ca., Smith has exhibited widely within the bay area and beyond. Recent Exhibitions include Intersection at the 21 Grand gallery in Oakland, Ca., San Francisco Meets Regensberg at Kino Akademiesalon Theater in Regensberg, Germany, and Various Photographs at the New York Photo Festival. He received his B.F.A. from Missouri State University and his M.F.A. in photography from the San Francisco Art Institute. www.joshsmithphoto.com
