Polymer plates provide a new alternative to setting type and allow for the creation of prints that combine images and text. In this one day workshop, learn how to create and print a polymer plate beginning with a digital image or text. You'll also learn how to use, adjust, and maintain the Vandercook press.
Lisa Rappoport publishes letterpress-printed poetry broadsides and artist’s books under the imprint Littoral Press. Her poetry has appeared in Five Fingers Review, Literal Latté, and elsewhere. In 2010 EtherDome published a double chapbook of her poems, Figments/Aftermaths. Lisa has taught at the San Francisco Center for the Book, New College in San Francisco, a middle school in Lafayette, and in her own West Oakland studio.
