For artists, a website is like a business card, and is a great tool for promotion and exposure. This workshop will introduce approaches to building a customized portfolio website using Wordpress (www.wordpress.org) as a content management system. Learn the basics of HTML, CSS, how to install and use Wordpress, make image slideshows, and more. All levels welcome.
Hannah Ireland uses installation, video, and performance to consider how the body is framed, inscribed, and staged by cultural forces. She received her MFA at California College of the Arts in 2010, was a recipient of the Barclay Simpson Award, and spent last summer at The Wassaic Project in NY. She has recently shown work at Unspeakable Projects, Royal Nonesuch Gallery, Macarthur B Arthur, ArtPad and Root Division in the Bay Area.
