This intensive workshop introduces participants to the amazing array of possibilities provided by Adobe's image-editing program, Photoshop.
Participants learn how to navigate Photoshop's interface and become familiar with various tools and techniques. Special attention is given to making skillful selections, adjusting contrast and color, retouching, masking, resolution issues, and the use of layers for collage and photo-composition. Suitable for both commercial and fine artists. Bring images up to 8x10" in size for scanning (photographs, drawings, 35mm slides, transparencies). Your "Photoshopped" image will be output as a high-resolution inkjet print. Bring a blank CD or USB drive to take your image home. Enrollment is limited to 7 students. Basic computer experience is strongly recommended.
